Nats and Dan Leigh are talented friends, neighbours and musicians with local Mt Maunganui band, The Libres. The Libres are a blend of pysch, alt-pop, rock… (musical genre stereotyping hurts my head). One summer evening hanging in their beach house I watched these guys film I Wanna Know (video by Gareth Hemmings), which confirmed I was all about their sound.
The Libres most recent single Come Lay Around is just as beautiful as I Wanna Know, and even a little mesmerizing. Look out for the video for it, coming soon! Here are a few pics taken in my new studio with the help of a little projector.
